This report provides some information that may vary year on year. Please read in conjunction with the school’s Special Educational Needs & Disability (SEND) policy available below. Lakenheath Community Primary school is part of the Mildenhall SEND Hub, a group of local schools working together to support inclusion. This year, together with our parents, we  created a set of over 300 FAQs about how we support the learning of all our children. This information can be accessed via the school website, using the ‘Schools Offer’ icon or following this link: http://sen.smpsac.org

Our Special Educational Needs (SEN) Policy is attached below.

Who to contact at Lakenheath Community Primary School:

Enquiries about an individual child’s progress should be addressed at first to the class teacher since he or she is the person who knows the child best. Other enquiries can be addressed to the Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCo), Melanie Lowe who can be contacted using the 'get in touch details' shown at the bottom of the page. The Governor with particular responsibility for SEND is Mr Paul Winter. We also have a Parent Support Worker (Mrs June Fox) who, although her work does not specifically focus on SEN, is always willing to listen to any of your concerns and problems and can provide some initial advice or point you in the right direction. The school forms part of Suffolk’s local offer which can be accessed at http://infolink.suffolk.gov.uk/localoffer.page
