Welcome to the busy class of the Raccoons!
We follow the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) statutory framework, which explains how, and what your child will be learning. Your child will be learning skills, acquiring new knowledge, and demonstrating their understanding through the seven areas of learning and development. Under the Sea
Our topic this half term has been Under the Sea. We started by visiting the
local sea life centre where the children enjoyed looking at the different sea
creatures and even got to hold some of them! When we got back to school the
fun continued as the children took part in a number of under the sea activities.
They particularly enjoyed the pirate themed activities such as making their own
treasure maps and designing and making their own boats with junk modelling.
They even wrote their own set of instructions to help the pirates find the
treasure of Pirate Frank.
